Senator Tina Smith recognized the Latino Economic Development Center for its Minnesota emerging farmer’s work during the confirmation hearing of Tom Vilsack for U.S Secretary of Agriculture.
LEDC’s work has composed of supporting new and expanding businesses across the state of Minnesota as well as supported dozens of Latino and other immigrant first-time farmers to start their farms.
We look forward to continuing to grow these programs with both the US Department of Agriculture and the MN Department of Agriculture.
