Peter Majerle

Before joining LEDC in 2023, Peter spent over 20 years working in journalism and communications in both Minnesota and Costa Rica. In his role as LEDC’s communications manager, Peter strives to showcase success stories in Minnesota’s Latino community while increasing LEDC’s visibility and engagement throughout the state.

Peter earned his B.A. in American Studies and Latin American studies at Grinnell College in Iowa before founding a media company in Costa Rica. He’s lived in Minnesota since 2011, and when he’s not snapping photos or writing, you might find him strumming a guitar, tending to his garden, or playing with his cat in St Paul’s Frogtown neighborhood.
