Johan Gomez Sang is a native of the Dominican Republic and has proudly called Minnesota home for the past six years. A third-generation Chinese-Dominican, he brings a multicultural perspective and is fluent in Spanish, English, and Mandarin. Johan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and a Master’s degree in Management and Productivity from Universidad APEC.
With more than 20 years of experience in the banking industry, Johan began his U.S. banking career as a Personal Banker at Wells Fargo. He later joined Minnesota Bank & Trust as a Consumer Lending Officer and currently serves as a Community Business Banker at Old National Bank, where he supports entrepreneurs and small business owners with lending solutions and financial guidance.
Johan is also deeply committed to community leadership. In the Dominican Republic, he served for six years on the Board of the Punta Cana Rotary Club. In Minnesota, he has been an active Board Member of LatinoLEAD for the past three years, previously serving as Fundraising Chair and currently as Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.
Outside of work, Johan enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two sons. His favorite pastimes include playing pickleball, golfing, and fishing.
