Giselle Mercado

Giselle assists the Lending Program Director with relevant activities within the LEDC Lending Program such as administration of credit and payment software, case management, and reporting for the internal committee.

Giselle studied Economics and has experience in the financial sector. She has worked in the financial system around eight years attracting funding from Multilaterals through Loan agreements to support the micro and small businesses. Likewise, she has worked in the issuing bonds in the Capital Market in Lima, Peru. Recently, she have finished her Nonproft Management Masters in Hamline University.

Giselle knows the needs and idiosyncrasies of the Latino Community. She has passion around financial inclusion themes.
