Ariel studied entrepreneurship and business development in his native Bolivia and holds a master’s in economic development and evaluation from the University of Minnesota. His work experience includes providing technical advice and mentorship to entrepreneurs in Bolivia. He also has experience in the nonprofit sector, supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of community outreach projects focused on women and indigenous communities.
As part of his master’s studies, Ariel worked with organizations in Africa and Central America on development projects focused on improving the efficiency of data use to enhance the impact of programs and services in the community.
Through his work at LEDC, Ariel promotes systemic changes that address the needs of communities. Ariel’s favorite aspect of working at LEDC is the positive impact we create in our communities. Knowing that his team helps entrepreneurs achieve their goals and strengthen their businesses motivates Ariel. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing soccer and basketball.
