The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), in collaboration with messaging platform WhatsApp, have created a new chat feature to bring essential information about COVID-19 vaccination to Spanish-speaking communities.
The new service, called “Mi chat sobre vacunas COVID,” allows users to contact the CDC helpline in Spanish to receive information about free vaccines, vaccination sites, and to dispel vaccination myths.
To enter the chat, send a WhatsApp message to (833) 636-1122 or click on this link. To get started, simply type “Hola”.
