Can I get the COVID-19 vaccine without an appointment?

In Minnesota, everyone 16 and older can now get vaccinated at Community Vaccination Program sites without making an appointment.

People 16 and older can get vaccinated at the following locations:

  • Bloomington – Mall of America: 200 South Avenue, Bloomington, MN 55425
  • Paul – Roy Wilkins Auditorium: 199 W Kellogg Blvd, St Paul, MN 55102
  • Lino Lakes – YMCA: 7690 Village Dr, Lino Lakes, MN 55014
  • Oakdale – Inwood Oaks: 484 Inwood Ave N, Oakdale, MN 55128

IMPORTANT: The Pfizer vaccine is the only vaccine that has been authorized for use in 16 and 17 year olds; it’s safe and effective for that age group. In order to get vaccinated against COVID-19, 16 and 17 year olds must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. For that reason, the State recommends that families go together to get vaccinated.

People 18 and older can also get vaccinated at these locations:

  • Duluth – DECC: 350 Harbor Dr, Duluth, MN 55802
  • Rochester – Mayo Civic Center: 30 Civic Center Dr SE, Rochester, MN 55902
  • Cloud – River’s Edge Convention Center: 10 4th Ave S, St Cloud, MN 56301

At this time, the community vaccination site at the MN State Fairgrounds is not accepting walk-ins as it is currently administering second doses.
